Are you going to purchase desktop computer or laptop ? 

Then, there may be a lots of questions in your mind.

what should be more preferable for me?

So, let's find the answers..

If you don't have knowledge about both than we choose wrong device which will become cost less for us after some times.

So if we know the differences between computer and laptop then and only then we can choose the right product .

There are many differences between desktop computer and laptop.e

The differences are following :-

Cost:-

The  prices of laptop are comparatively high. Because all the functionalities to perform any task are inbuilt in the laptop, such as laptop battery, pointer(like mouse), keyboard, monitor.

Portability :-

Desktop are large in size and have separate parts (CPU, Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard) .

So, to transfer a desktop from one place to other is so boring and cumbersome. 

They are designed to be used in a single location.

And when we talk about laptops , they are small in size and very portable due to their compact size .

They can be transferred from one place to other easily.

Processor :-

Desktop processors are larger in Size, but this also means the desktop processors can be more powerful than laptop processors. New , advanced processors on the market are often available in desktop computer first. 

Laptop processors are limited compare to desktop computer processors.

Ease of assembly :-

The assembly of desktop computer is hard due to it's large size and takes more time while assembly of laptop is easy .

Keyboards :-

In desktop computers keyboards are given to outside so the keyboard includes number pad and there is no limitation.

While in laptops keyboard is inbuilt so there is limitations.

Screen size :-

Desktop  computers are usually large in size. Desktop monitors can be 19" or larger.

This provides the greater flexibility to do work on it.

Laptops are small in size in comparison of desktop computer.

They are in range of 10" and 17" .

Power usage :-

Desktop computers use more power than a laptop.
If the power fluctuates or goes out . including brown out.

Upgrading :-

Most components in a desktop are easily removable, making it easier to upgrades
and since desktop cases are usually much bigger they're easier to work in when doing any upgrading.

Memory and hard drive are about the only components that can be upgraded in a laptop. The remaining components are either built-in and not removable or the laptop is not designed to work with an upgraded version of a component. A need to upgrade anything other than the hard drive and memory usually requires a new laptop.

Gaming :-

Desktop are capable of using high powered video cards that have higher power requirements.

Since desktops have large screen , long space ,and capabilities of using 1000+ watt power it is more preferable than laptops.

Laptops have limited capabilities.

While gaming laptops can provide better than simple laptop and the same as qualities of playing games.

Important things to remember while purchasing gaming laptops.

Repair :-

Repairing a desktop computer is much easier since most of the hardware can be easily purchased off the shelf of any local computer retail store.

For most users, opening a laptop to repair a part can be difficult and finding a replacement part often requires calling the computer manufacturer or ordering from another online site.
